Some Random Advice

At some point, this diet becomes more than just about your weight.

Clearly, I’m not a professional or even knowledgeable enough to talk, but what I can tell you is what I know from personal experience. Right now this could just be about confidence and acceptance…maybe you’re fighting for control, power, attention, or love…but there comes a time when you have to realize that your weight will not give you any of these things nor does it determine what you receive in life.

Find something you love about yourself. It can be your smile, your hair, your personality, your wit, anything. Find it, and focus on it, exemplify it. If you love your smile, focus on that, brush your teeth and make them pearly white so you can show off that beautiful smile. If you love your hair, style it the way you like it as often as you can; that way you can look in the mirror in the morning and be like ‘damn, I look good today.’ If you love your personality, make more friends, show off that incredible personality…let people in so they can experience how awesome you are. I know we all have flaws and a lot of things we hate about ourselves, more than simply hating out physical appearances, more and more we’re just hating ourselves. Nothing will come of this. Nothing in life will improve. Nothing will change. You must be the change you want to see. Find the positive in your life. MAKE something positive.

Above all else, realize you are special and incredible. Your body does not limit nor define who you are as a person. You are beautiful. I promise you that, whether you realize it or not, you are absolutely, breath-takingly beautiful.
